Medac
Carlo Mendozzi founded Medac in Salerno, southern Italy, in 1960. Medac was the first company to introduce polyethylene-coated paper in 1977, improving the graphics, and thus establishing the success of the personalized ice cream tub. Today, the company is run by the company founder's daughters, Francesca and Paola.
The range offers a wide assortment from ice cream tubs, drinking cups, coffee cups, French fries cups, popcorn cups to crepe holders, finger food cups, cup trays and much more. Biodegradable tubs/cups play an increasingly important role. All tubs/cups can also be produced according to personalised preferences.
Medac is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, FSC, OK Compost EN13432, MID (CE mark) and PEFC (Chain of Custody certification for wood and paper products).
