Biodegradable coating on the cups
E-Cup are provided with a Mater-Bi coating,. Mater-Bi is a patented biodegradable coating based on corn starch and vegetarian oils. The coating on vegetable components guarantees the impermeability of the paper cups and is ideal in contact with food.
The certification according to the European standard 13432 states that biodegradation takes place within 180 days.
